Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bloomi app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bloomi, and the app applies a minimum age gate of 13 during setup. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You may sign in using email and password, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party sign-in provider you choose.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, including through chat or social features.
• Cheat, exploit, automate, or otherwise manipulate progression, rewards, leaderboards, or races.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Bloomi includes a virtual economy with XP (experience used for progression and levels) and Gold (a virtual currency used in the in-app shop).

• XP, Gold, badges, cosmetics, and similar items are virtual, have no monetary value, and are not redeemable for cash or any real-world value.
• You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use virtual items within the Service. You do not own them.
• We may adjust, rebalance, expire, or remove virtual items and economy mechanics to maintain a fair and healthy experience.

Bloomi is a wellness and motivation companion, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Health-related information, scores, goals and summaries in the app (including any locally-derived sleep score) are for general informational and motivational purposes only, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions about your health, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something in the app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

Where you grant access, Bloomi reads health and activity data to power your experience as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings. You are responsible for the accuracy of data provided by your device and connected sources.

The Service, including its software, design, companion characters, artwork, and trademarks, is owned by Bloomi or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You retain ownership of content you create, such as your check-in journal entries.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Certain provisions, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, survive termination.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloomi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
